Helen's Yoga & Qigong Training

Helen is a registered Yoga Alliance teacher and has completed more than 1,000 hours of certified teacher training since she began teaching yoga in 2007.

She took her first yoga class in 2002 and never looked back. Over the years, as she felt the ongoing benefits of a regular yoga practice, she was keen to delve deeper and learn more.

Helen completed two Hatha Yoga Teacher Trainings in 2007 in Cairns, Australia and then an Ashtanga Vinyasa Training in 2011 with Paul Dallaghan at Centered Yoga in Koh Samui, Thailand. These teacher trainings included detailed study of asana, pranayama, meditation, yoga philosophy, yoga therapy and pregnancy yoga.

In 2014 she completed further prenatal and postnatal yoga training through Bliss Baby Yoga with Ana Davis, Byron Bay.

In 2018 Helen continued to dive more deeply into into the area of women's health with a 'Yoga for Fertility" training through Bliss Baby Yoga & completed 'Roll & Release' training - a combination of yoga & therapeutic self-massage techniques using myofascial release balls.

In 2019  she immersed in a 100hr Yin Yoga Teacher Training in Bali with Mysan Sidbo from Mysan Yoga Sanctuary and in 2021/2022 she enjoyed a deep exploration of the wonderful world of Qi with a 200hr Qigong Teacher Training with Lee Holden.

Helen continues with her regular yoga practice through classes at Satsanga Sanctuary, self practice, online trainings and classes through glo.com with Jason Crandall (Hatha & Vinyasa flow yoga), Mary Taylor (Ashtanga yoga) & Tiffany Cruikshank (Yin & Vinyasa flow).
